Police Arrests Two Men For Recording Themselves While Defiling A 12-Year-Old Girl In Anambra

Report has it that the police in Anambra state have arrested two men for supposedly recording a 12-year old young lady while one of them raped her in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the State.

Haruna Mohammed, the spokesperson of the state police command, who disclosed this in a statement discharged on Friday June 19, said that one of the suspects, Sunday Akanigbo (30) purportedly raped the person in question, while his accomplice, Ikemefuna Muoma (28), was supposed to film the obnoxious act/demonstration.

The Spokesperson also said that the two men have admitted to the wrongdoing and would be charged to court soon.

“On the 18th of June, 2020 at about 1:45pm, Police operatives attached to Ozubulu Division arrested one Sunday Akanigbo ‘m’ aged 30 years of Amakwa Ozubulu in Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State.
The suspect had in the month of April this year allegedly defile a twelve years old girl while his accomplice one Ikemefuna Muoma ‘m’ aged 28 years of same address likewise captured shot the devious act.”
In the interim, the suspects have intentionally admitted to the offenses and the video clip was covered in their possession as exhibit.

The scene of the incident was visited by police detective and the victim taken to the hospital for medical examination/ check-up.
